Maria Ridulph story featured on 48 Hours

This past Saturday the CBS program 48 Hours did a feature on Maria Ridulph, who – in 1957 at the age of 7 – was kidnapped and murdered.  In 2012, Jack McCullough was tried and convicted of the crime.  I have the show recorded and will watch it this week, but thought I would share a link to the program on YouTube for those of you who didn’t get a chance to see it:

Maria lived in Sycamore, IL, which borders Dekalb – where I live.  So, I have been familiar with this story for a few years, but certainly did not understand the impact it had on this community and even the nation. I commend those who recognize that there is no shelf life for justice.  And I pray that Maria’s friends and family have found the closure they’ve needed and that all have found some peace.
